02. File Request: Receiving Multimedia Content

In Zenvia Customer Cloud, the File Request feature allows your customer to request a file during the chatbot conversation. For example, if the user needs a document to proceed with the assistance, they can request a photo of that document from your customer via File Request.
This ability to include a file is important as it allows verifying information, such as a photo of an ID/CPF document, proof of residence, payment, etc. It is necessary to inform the maximum allowed file size and also the allowed extensions, such as: PNG, JPG, or PDF.


How to Access

The File Request content is available in the bot Constructor, and to access it, simply click on the three dots of the block or anywhere on it. This will open the Block Details modal, then follow the instructions below:

  1. Click on Add content, you will have the option File Request.
  2. In the Max file size field, enter the size of your file, in Allowed extensions, specify which extensions will be allowed.
  3. Finally, click outside of this open block to save.
