Why should I review the international and regional phone prefix codes of my contacts?
Reviewing the international and area code prefixes ensures that your messages are delivered to the correct contacts. Without the correct formatting, the dispatches will not be executed and may incur additional charges.
How can I verify if the codes are correct?
Country codes validation occurs in the second step of broadcast configuration:
Select the Countries where the broadcast will take place by checking the boxes.
Choose how users will be included:
- By importing from the contact manager (lists, contacts, or segments)
- .csv files
- Manual addition
If you choose not to validate, you might send messages to incorrect recipients or incur additional charges for unverified codes.
Invalid numbers will be blocked, and this information will be included in the dispatch reports.
How the analysis erocess works:
For .csv files:
- After importing the file, you can deactivate the analysis. If you activate the analysis, we will present the results for correction.
- In case of a failure, an error message will be displayed requesting a new attempt.
For manual addition:
- After configuring the numbers, click on Analyze and add contacts.
- If the formatting is correct, you will be directed to the broadcast Summary.
- If the formatting is incorrect, the message "Phone numbers without prefix codes were found. Please review the formatting of your contact list before proceeding." will be displayed, and you will need to correct the formatting.

How can I correct my contacts' codes, if necessary?
Make sure all phone numbers in your contact list are formatted with the international prefix code, area code, and complete number, including the country code, region, and local number.
For example, for numbers in Argentina, the area code should always be included without the 9 between the regional code and the phone number, thus appearing as: 54 (AAA)XXXX-XXXX, without spaces or hyphens.
For numbers in the United States, consider the format Country Code + Area Code + Phone Number, noting that the country code is +1. Therefore, the format would be: 1(AAA)XXX-XXXX, where AAA represents the area code and XXX-XXXX represents the phone number.

If you are adding recipients manually, it is important to check the phone number formats and ensure there are no hyphens, spaces, or additional periods in the middle of the number. These additional characters can cause errors when sending messages.
Remember that when adding contacts manually, use a semicolon (;) as a separator between one phone number and another on the list. This helps ensure that each number is recognized individually by the system.
