Managing your WhatsApp account ensures that it is configured according to your needs and preferences. After activating the channel, you can:
Customize the profile: Change your account’s appearance by updating the profile picture, name, description, and other associated information.
Set data storage: Choose the location and duration for storing messages, ensuring compliance with regulations.
Sync templates: Use Facebook message templates directly in Zenvia Customer Cloud to maintain consistency in your communications.
⚠️ Attention: Only users with Operator or Admin profiles are allowed to make changes to the WhatsApp account.
These settings should be managed under Settings > Channels > WhatsApp.
How to change the photo and information on your WhatsApp profile
- In the Actions column of the connected account, click on the three dots icon and select Register account information.
- Fill in the indicated fields:
- About: A quick and concise summary about the business or profile. Text up to 139 characters (letters and numbers).
- Company Logo: Circular image with dimensions of 640x640 pixels in JPEG format.
- Description: Provide more complete and detailed information about the business. Text up to 256 characters (letters and numbers).
- Address: Business address with a limit of 256 characters (letters and numbers).
- Contact Email: Valid email in the format ([email protected]), with a limit of 128 characters.
- Business Category: Choose from pre-defined categories by WhatsApp (e.g., Automotive, Beauty, Education, Restaurant, etc.).
- Site: Up to 2 web addresses (http:// or https://) with a limit of 256 characters.
- After editing the desired fields, click Save to apply the changes to the profile.
Change data storage location
In the Actions column of the connected account, click on the three dots icon and select Register;
Select the region where the data will be stored;
Click Save.
Sync Facebook templates
In the Actions column of the connected account, click on the three dots icon and select Sync Facebook Templates;
Confirm the synchronization.
