Discover the main features of the integration
With the integration, you can:
- Import existing contacts from Mercado Shops;
- Identify whether the potential customer has agreed to receive promotional messages;
- Create a new lead whenever an order is registered in the system;
- Display order information as a note in the conversation.
Additionally, you can send automated message templates via WhatsApp whenever an order is placed.
How Mercado Shops integration works within Zenvia Customer Cloud
The integration is done via an API. Once set up, you can choose to import all existing contacts or create new leads whenever a sale is completed.
Choose to send an automated message using one of our templates for each new purchase in your store. Your customers can track their orders via WhatsApp.
Import all contacts
If you choose to import your entire customer database, you will be able to access this database within Zenvia Customer Cloud.
Contacts will be registered as "Mercado Shops" (or with the name you define) right after configuring the application and saving the changes in the platform.
Imported contacts who do not agree to receive promotions will have a specific field marked so they can be excluded from bulk promotional messages.
Create new leads
To create new leads, register the contact’s details every time a new purchase is made in your store, along with information about the items and amounts purchased.
This way, the agent will have more context about the purchase, providing a better experience for your customer.
How to activate the Mercado Shops integration within Zenvia Customer Cloud
1. Go to Sales > Integrations and access the Mercado Shops application.
2. Choose which group to assign the integration to and click the Install button.
3. Once the installation is complete, log in to the application. You will be redirected to the Mercado Shops website, where you must enter your username and password.
4. You will receive the security verification code on the contact registered in your Mercado Shops account.
5. Choose the channel's source name, which can be "Mercado Shops" or one of your choice. Then, proceed with the activation. Press the Save button, and you're done!
⚠️ Attention: Timestamp, ID, amount paid, currency, and order items will be available as a note for the agent.
How to configure the application
The application has some criteria that may vary according to the user's needs and can include the following options:
1. Import your contacts into Zenvia Customer Cloud. Select a specific date range for your existing leads.
2. Select the main information to be shared with the agent in the conversation. For example:
- Date and time;
- Order ID;
- Total amount;
- Ordered items.
You can select more than one option.
3. Send an automatic message template to the customer when a new sale occurs. You can choose the template that is available in your account.
Whenever a lead accepts or declines receiving promotions, the information will be available as an additional field in the contact details.
⚠️ Attention: The integration creates and syncs contacts who have made a purchase on Mercado Shops every 10 minutes automatically; it is not in real-time.
