With this Zenvia Customer Cloud integration, it is possible to share Google Drive file links between users and contacts to send cloud-saved files via messages during their interactions.
In this article, you will learn how to install, configure, and activate this application.
⚠️ Attention: This feature is available only for users with the Operator and Admin profiles.
Installation
To install Google Drive, follow the steps below:
1. Access Integrations in the side menu.
2. Look for Google Drive.
3. Choose the group where you want to install it.
4. Click Assign > Install.
Done! The application is installed.
Google Drive Settings
Now it is necessary to perform some advanced settings:
Visibility Options:
- Show folders: Check this option for users to see Google Drive documents organized by folders.
- Send folders: Choose this option to send folders and files.
- Show only files that belong to me: Check this option to send only your own files.
File Type Options:
Select the file type you want to send, such as:
- All files;
- Google Docs;
- Google Sheets;
- Google Slides;
- Google Drawings;
- Google Forms;
- PDF;
- Microsoft Word;
- Microsoft Excel;
- Microsoft PowerPoint;
- PNG;
- JPEG;
- MP4;
- MP3.
Activate the application at the top right of the screen and then press Save.
How to Share Files through Google Drive
To send a file from Google Drive, follow these steps:
1. Access the Inbox and select the desired contact to send a file.
2. Click the + symbol at the bottom of the chat and select the Google Drive icon.
3. Log in with your Google account.
💡Tip: Enable the pop-up windows option in your browser. Otherwise, this functionality cannot be used. Make sure the file is available to the client, which can be configured in your Google Drive account.
4. Search for the file(s) you want to send and click Select to send it.
⚠️Attention: The file must be shared with the contact or be public for access. You can share up to 10 files at a time. The email associated with Google Drive must be the same as the one registered in Zenvia Customer Cloud.
