When creating an automation, Zenvia Customer Cloud allows you to perform various settings in the flow, including activation, pause, and scheduling of the automation.
⚠️ Attention: These features are available only for users with the Operator or Admin profiles.
In this article, we will detail each of the functionalities available to manage your flow.
Activate or pause automation
To trigger or interrupt your flow:
- Click on the name of the desired automation in Analytics > Automations;
- Change the status of the rule to Active or Inactive using the enable/disable icon.
This action can also be performed within the builder. Just click the Activate Rule or Pause Rule button in the upper right corner of the builder.
Both situations allow for prior scheduling, meaning you can choose the moment you want to activate or pause your flow.
⚠️ Attention: If your flow is stopped and restarted, contacts who have already received the shots from your campaign will not receive the messages again.
Schedule automation
When scheduling the activation or pause moment, choose the date and time when the automation will be activated or paused.
Scheduling can be changed or canceled at any time.
⚠️ Attention: When pausing the automation, new contacts from linked lists do not receive the scheduled shots. To resume, click the Activate rule button.
Other features
When accessing an automation, you can edit, delete, or duplicate the flow.
Edit flow
The Edit rule button takes you to the automation builder with all the tools and resources needed for any user to create and edit flows practically and visually.
Delete flow
To remove an automation flow, click on the three-dot menu and select the Delete option. To complete the action, click on Permanently Delete.
⚠️ Attention: Permanently deleting an automation means that, in addition to deactivating it from your list, you are removing the flow and all associated shots. Remember that deletion is permanent, so be careful not to accidentally remove an automation you intend to reuse in the future.
Duplicate flow
To duplicate an automation flow, click on the three-dot menu and select the Duplicate option. To complete the action, give a name to the copy and click Duplicate.
When duplicating a flow, you create an identical copy of the original automation, useful for testing and creating new automations using the same structure and settings.
