Boosting posts allows you to increase the reach of your posts and attract more interactions. 

By turning a post into an ad with a click to WhatsApp, you can direct communication to a specific audience by choosing characteristics such as location and interests. This way, you facilitate direct contact with customers and initiate conversations that can lead to sales.

⚠️ Attention: Currently, this functionality is only available for Instagram ads that direct clicks to WhatsApp, starting commercial interactions in the Customer Service Inbox of Zenvia Customer Cloud.

Requirements to Boost Posts

To boost a post, make sure you have:

How to Boost a Post

With your ads account connected to Zenvia Customer Cloud, you can boost a post:

  1. In the side menu, go to Ads;

  2. Click the Boost Post button located at the top right of the page;

  3. Choose your Meta business manager account and the name of the linked Instagram account;

  4. Set the period in which the post was created by selecting from the available options (e.g., posts from the last 7 days, 30 days, etc.);

  5. In the post listing, select the corresponding one and click Boost.

⚠️ Attention: Some posts may not be available to boost, especially if they were created before the functionality became available. In this case, select another post.

Steps to Boost a Post

Each step will be marked with a check icon as you progress, and a summary of the ad creation will be available on the right side of the screen for guidance:

  1. Set up the ad:

    1. Ads account: The registered account will be displayed.

    2. Ad name: A mandatory field to identify the ad.

    3. Select action button: Choose the button that will encourage interactions (like "Send Message").

  2. Where will you be available to chat?

    1. Currently, you can choose WhatsApp as the support channel to turn interactions into sales.

  3. Define the target audience:

    1. Geographic location: Example: São Paulo, Brazil.

    2. Automatically define audience: Direct the ad to people with characteristics similar to your followers.

    3. Customize audience: Filter by location, gender, age range, and specific interests.

    4. Minimum audience size: The minimum audience must be 100 accounts. Learn how to adjust the audience to reach more people.

  4. Set daily budget:

    1. The minimum daily budget is R$5.55. The final amount may vary depending on the ad's performance. Learn more at Daily Budget: How It Works and What to Do with Value Variations.

  5. Set ad run time:

    1. Select the start date and end date of the ad.

  6. Choose where the ad will be published:

    1. Currently, only Instagram is available as an ad placement channel.

  7. Create ad:

    1. After completing the steps, click Create Ad to finish the process.

Error messages

If any issues occur, the following messages may appear:

  • Review highlighted fields: Check the marked fields and try again.

  • WhatsApp linkage required: Check in the Meta Business Manager if there is a linked WhatsApp account. Learn how to link an account in Meta Manager.

By boosting a post, it becomes an active ad. Results can be tracked directly in Ads.
