A custom audience is an advertising targeting tool that allows you to reach people who have already interacted with your brand on Meta's platforms. This segmentation can increase the effectiveness of your ads.

Minimum Audience Size

For your ads to be displayed, the minimum audience size must reach 100 accounts. If you haven't reached this total, consider adjusting the settings of your custom audience to reach a larger number of accounts.

⚠️ Attention: If your ad account is new or has recently been linked to an existing account, it may take a few weeks before you can create or share a custom audience.

How to Change Audience Settings

  1. Select the desired post in Ads > Boost Post;

  2. In the audience definition step, include as many relevant identifiers as possible. This will help increase your match rates and the effectiveness of your ad.

Examples of Identifiers

Consider the following identifiers when setting up your custom audience:

  • Geographic Location

  • Gender

  • Age Range

  • Audience Interests (e.g., men's fashion, women's fashion, etc.)
